don't work with custom angel eyes, their service is poor after you buy their product. he promised to overnight me an HID kit 2 days ago when i called him up again after this thread fired me up.. still nothing. like i said, i'm fine without lowbeams (hid fogs are enough) but inspection is comiiiin up..and i also expect to have lowbeams for the price i paid.

sometimes i just want to sell and return back to stock, but then i look at it and change my mind..

and one thing to remember (i dont know if this was already mentioned, i've been away from the forum this month) but, besides the manufacturer of the headlights, make sure to keep an eye out for what kind of halos you are getting. the depo are weak LEDs that look good i guess, but the CCFLs are insaaane and very noticeable. the 60-90 LED options look pretty good too..but i haven't had any experience with those..

That's what I wanted to hear...I wanted some nice and bright CCFL's. Thanks for the extra pics.

I don't see an option to purchase HID's w/ the headlights, so i'll probably just stick w/ a www.ddmtuning.com kit since i've had good luck w/ them in my 740...for $65, you can't go wrong.

wow what a bummer MT. funny because I haven't heard from him either. he's very elusive... i only had the liberty of speaking with "him" because i bumped into him close to my town (saw a 5 series with his url address stickered on the window)

Anyway, the front of your car looks awesome!! I wished your lowbeams worked for you though....

I've got OEM POS on my X. No projectors or HID, yellow corners...I don't even have a friggin sunroof!!! I've been eyeballing factory Xenon's for a while, but it appears its not plug and play for me. I don't have self leveling (even necessary?), so I figured if I get these ebay lights, I can kill four birds w/ one stone....projectors, HID's, angel eyes and clear corners.

Moh,
Luvin your lights man, a/eyes in particular. Pretty much all of us prefacelift owners are striving for this look I'm sure. Yeah, it is a shame about your low beams, GL sorting them out.
Keen to see the outcome of these other projects.
On a side note, your new avatar looks neat too.

I'm interested in your thoughts and results on this project Philly, I am eager to see what you think as I do not want to lose the auto leveling feature of the Xenons and it sounds like these casings will take the auto leveling hardware.

I wonder if the lense in the low beam housing is Xenon or halogen? Hmmm.
