02 X5 cant get rear door panel off need help
This is my first window problem, 120K, so based on what I've read, I'm overdue. I did read most of the DIY articles. Thanks, F16driver 2002 4.6is |

Hey there F16,
I've removed my front door panels several times for the dreaded regulator prob however the rear windows are hanging in there, at present. When and if they do let go I'm going to revisit this very helpful video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y25x6gIIgPE Quote: I'm trying to figure out how to get the door cover off the top of the door. Should I just push up on the door cover to get the clips to release across the top? Once you have all screws, light fitting released etc and wires unplugged, my understanding is that you start from the bottom by giving it a short quick tug (carefully) then as you 'pop' the remaining plugs it will simply lift up and off. All explained in the vid. Here's another link from some time ago: The Zotosphere: X5 Window Repair GL ![]()
