I know, I know The M5 completely got me the 1st time, but I was a little more ready the second time. It's hard to see in the video, but I was actually 1 1/4 car length ahead of him when we wound out, but I backed off and he braked slightly when we started to crest the bridge. Off the line, my car is a complete dog, but once it hits 3.5k, it finally wakes up. I've really gotta ditch the stock ECU and/or do something like a Unichip, I know more is in it still.

I haven't added it due to moving from Seattle to Boise, buying a house, vacations w/ the kids, yada yada yada. I keep looking at it, but then it's like I'm back and forth between the 7, the X and the bike lately. My ADHD, OCD, ABCDEFG seems to get the best of me! I've driven a B7 when I went to BMW of Bellevue while my buddy was buying an E39 M5. The B7's a beast for a large car, but I'm confident i'll be walking it once I finish...but is it ever really finished

Oh yeah, don't expect too much hair from me

I've got pics, but only these 3 on this computer. Outside pics, the interior, one of me at Bremerton Raceway(made it into the Zundfolge!), etc. I can't remember the name of the book now, but some guy who made a book about the BMW 5 series (not sure if it was only E34's, or E39's also) actually contacted me and used my pics for his book...I never did see it or buy it though

I love it too...just wish the headlights were a little more updated looking. I had totaled an RX7TT before I went shopping for a replacement. I drove a C36 AMG at the time, then saw this little bimmer hiding off in the corner. I had literally never heard of M5's, and since there was like 6yrs where they weren't made, so at the time I wasn't surprised I never heard of it.

Driving it was like night and day to the RX off the line, but the highway...ohh the highway. I've learned how to do the most obnoxious and stupid things w/ that car. Power braking, sliding out the end (not quite drifting, but fun enough). When I was w/ my buddy to buy his M5 (same time I drove the B7), we had went to the gas station after he made the purchase. I still remember doing the sickest rolling burnout (flame suit on) coming in from the back of the gas station parking lot, up a slight incline to the pump, through the covered pump station, and back out on the street. He called me like 2 minutes later, just rolling because the guy at the station came out and yelled at him. The things we do to impress girls

Which rig? This thread was titled "DO WORK SON!!", which doesn't really seem like a topic as is, so it's ok

I've got Beyern's on my 7...kinda heavy, but they look nice.

Thank you. It's hands down, the best car i've ever purchased. 187k, trans has a little 2-1 synchro problem, but it runs like a champ and never complains.

Funny you say that, I'm actually browsing Crazedlist.org now for E30's, but then I keep thinking...I still haven't finished what i've started w/ my current rigs! I ALMOST did a driveway for this lady w/ a pristine 320i in exchange for payment, but just couldn't bring myself to doing...my CCR's are so strict, which I appreciate.

EDIT - Oops...94 is still E36. Dee dee dee! My mother loves driving my M5, but she finally brokedown and bought herself a 97 328ci 5spd w/ only 48k on it. I told her if she ever wants to get rid of it, I'm so taking it from her. I'd turbo the bejesus out of it! www.bmwturbo328.com. I wish they made the 98 728iL's here in the states...it would have been soooo much cheaper and easier to FI compared to the V8.
