My driver's side mirror also does the click, click, click at the end of folding out. Works fine otherwise (most of the time) every now and then when I go to unfold the come in and go back out with many click, click, click, clicks. Then the mirrors will not work for the rest of the trip. After leaving them alone for a bit they will function normally again.
