NO Start
My fathers X is not starting. The key wont open doors, I manually opened the door. Turn the key and nothing no lights nothing! He left for overseas and the car was sitting for a couple of days and I wanted to start it up to warm up the engine. I tried boosting it with a booster charger but nothing, should I try car to car? I do remember the instrument cluster on the bottom of the speedo/rpm where is has all the info gas, time, date, stopwatch etc. The Bulb in one section was soooo bright then the others I wish i taken a pic, could that have caused something? Anyone can help before I bring to dealer. Thanks,

Agree with the battery suggestions, but on another topic.....
If it was just parked, why would you be starting it to warm it up? Unless you are going to drive it, starting it and idling it is very hard on the vehicle. Much better to not start it if it isn't going to be driven.

It is a 2006 4.4i 70,000km original owner! Yes, I wanted to drive it sorry.
Is this something the dealer would replace? I am still covered so... thanks guys!

if you are still covered under the original factory warranty, the battery will be covered. CPO and ESC, and Extended warranties do not cover battery replacement.

JCL, and our GWN friends, may have the skinny, but I recall that batteries
aren't "covered" in CDA...not poz. If not covered you may hunt around for a direct replacement as I suspect the CDA Dlr price is going to be eye popping. GL,mD
