Anthracite Maple interior trim

I see this is offered on bmw's website when building a new X5. Does anyone have access to the part numbers and prices? My mother put this in her 545i with black leather, looks amazing. Would love to retrofit into the 4.8

Thanks in advance!!

I have the Anthracite Maple in my X5. but it is different from the Anthracite Maple in the 5-series. although they have the same name.

It looks grey-ish in the 5-series, but brown in the X5. I called BMW NA about the difference and was told, it is the same kind of wood, but cut differently in the 5-series. they they both look very obviously different in color.

We have the dark wood in our 01. I really would like to change it out to something that doesn't have a glossy finish. Does BMW have any such trims?

The anthracite seem to have some variation on how it appears depending on the grain and the particular set you're looking at. Here is mine. I replaced my dark poplar with the anthracite maple. In case you're wondering, I got the anthracite wood from another X5world member who switched out to light poplar.

Yes! I believe he said it's some kind of mahogany. Some pricy stuff by what he indicated.

btw, I'm totally jealous of you guys that have the anthracite trim. It is one fine lookin trim. I just wish it was matte.

Hmm, is there also a smoked poplar trim?

that does look great, nice job. but bears2973 is right, it looks much different in the 5 series. its grayish-black with a straight grain look to it. thats really what i was after. funny how they use the same name, but they look obviously different. and if you go to the bmwusa website to build your own X5, its looks just like the trim in the 5 series I was refering to. check out this link:

confusing
