Have you driven it hard for a period of time or reset the memory? If the previous owner babied the car off the line, the software gets used to that. A reset will change how it responds. In all seriousness, you have to compare the S to atleast the 4.6is, which is a different beast all together. It will hand it to the S with the same amount of HP.

the cayenne hands down is a better vehicle i'm sorry to say. i've driven 4.8is as well on the cayenne base all the way to the GTS, definitely better performance all round from the porsche platform.... until the X5M and X6M make its way to the market!

Now that's a honest answer...Thanks. I am already feeling like that...Even though i like the X5 , never thought the difference was night and day. X5 feels like a boat...no character...

i have raced the Porsche Cayenne S against my 4.4i and had no issue racing it and wining, maybe it had something to do with the DINAN mods? dunno

I had all my DINAN Mods done at Patrick BMW in Schaumburg, I live in the South Loop. cost about 6k>

How much HP gain? have you dynoed? also can you tell the difference is it worth 6 k?

To be honest i havent driven it that hard...have had it only for a week now. Maybe that would change something..in terms of DS mode program....but i am not really sure if it will feel Porsche fast. The best way to tell ...is to race my buddys car.
