Just bought a 4.8is!

Hey guys,
Just signed up on the forum yesterday, made one post in the WTB forum thinking I'd spend awhile looking for one, and then just bought one last night! See pic...

I'm going to go look at it before I pay the seller, and wondering if anyone can suggest any X5-specific issues to look for when I examine the car.

For example, I have an E46 3-series and before I'd buy another one, I would look under the car at the rear subframe as they are known to rip away from the body. Things like that...

-These cars can have a rough idle, no? Would that be a reason alone to stay away from it?

-What about any VANOS issues, I know for '04 there were some, do they carry over? How could I check in person, other than putting my head to the valve cover and listening?

-Airbags - I know they have a tendency to develop leaks, how might I check condition when I only have an hour to spend with the car....if there were leaks, the car probably wouldn't settle in that short a time right?

-I'm sort of shooting the dark here but please chime in with anything that crosses your mind! Thanks!
