I've noticed this lately:
If you are parked and you move the steering wheel to the left and then move it back to the right it makes a clunking noise. It does not happen if you go right and the turn left. I can only hear it when I'm parked or at low speeds. And you can feel it on the steering wheel(like it right next to you sound, not from outside) Any ideas? The other thing I forgot to mention is when I come out of my driveway (there is a little lip between my driveway and the road) the front driver's side tire make a clunk as well when it comes down from the lip to the road, it's probably like a 2" lip. Is both things corelated? So what is cause?

did jack up the car, tried to crab everything possible,no clunks. Replaced new sway bar links and still sound there. Maybe not tight enough sway bar links?

I've had multiple clunk sounds before.
![]() First one ended up being the sway bar links and that relieved the clunking... until... a "minor" clunk that came back from the front left wheel. Was only felt when I hit some bumps and when I braked really hard on the highway that would give a little shudder from the steering wheel. Ended that I needed new upper and lower control arms. No more clunk sounds and now the feel on the road feels much solid. Now if I can just figure out these cold weather gremlins with the electronics!

I do have some shimmy braking sometimes. Replaced rotors and pads, still sometime does shimmy braking. So clunk and steerign shimy and clunk in steering, might be time for a thrust arm bushings?
