Roof Rack Question - OEM Bars

Does anyone know if the X3 cross members fit on to the X5? (E53)

The instruction manual has both vehicles but the actual bars say X3 at the bottom.

I appreciate any help with this.

I've tried the search function and couldn't find me answer. If this has been discussed before, please point me in that direction.

Can't help you. I bought the Thule bars (which I am very happy with). Most folks seem to buy the aftermarket bars.

try realoem.com and see if the part numbers are the same.

you can always test fit them, it would be an easy 3 minute job...

I would imagine the width between the two are different.
