Just to add some feedback.I also just bought 2 Depo AEs sets from same supplier as Helmuth. One for myself (not fitted yet!) and one for a customer who has fitted and unfortunately on the first day he turned them on and in rainy weather, they fogged over badly.
I contacted AD Tuning Gmbh and was told that ,its normal for them to fog over in the first 1-3 weeks(hummmmm!),then if there is still a problem, they will exchange.
I think I will get the customers back and seal them properly and will do the same to mine before I fit them.
I hope that its not the European Depos that have this problem, because after I have some positive feedback from members here who have had no problems...

Hi, not good at all what you see with them. Mine were foggy on first turn on, but that was gone very fast. Today after cleaning a ton of salt from the truck with a steam cleaner I also saw some fog in one. Hope it goes away again otherwise I need to ask some questions to the dealer. Warranty is at least one year here.

Take care, Helmuth

Just to update on fogging up issue on my customers car.Seems AD Tuning were right! No more misted up and are all clear now, after a week and a car wash.
The Depos only misted up on the first day he fitted them,so I can only assume that it was because my customer fitted them on a rainy day full of humidity that got into the interior of the headlight before he fitted them, since they have the bulb covers off before he fitted them....and this makes more sense. So,good news for European Depo buyers

Angel Eyes are not LED but to be honest - I do not care. She looks 5 years younger now and I believe that is a good thing for a lady

Are these for Xenon headlights?

Mine fog more them just in the beginning.

I would highly reccomend a full seal with silicone before installation.

Agree with you,a full silicone seal ,just to be safe.(I am doing it to mine+ client´s)
Where did you get yours?
I asked a few non-European members here by PM and they all said they never had any problems adn this is the reason why I thought it was only the Depos is the European market.

Updates from all with Depo lights with OEM HID and self leveling please?

Think I may pull the trigger on this one. My current $50 eBay DIY ccfl AE's are always bright in the summertime but winter makes them very dim until after the car is started and then they're fine. Had fogging only a few times and then it virtually disappeared. Also I've replaced the inverters at least 3x's since installing them 2 years ago (Thankfully none of the rings have blown yet *fingers crossed*). Finally, my 2001 oem covers are getting cloudy and I'd much prefer a brand new set to refinishing them.

So Depo owners:

How is AE light output?
How is HID light output?
Any dash errors?
Any fogging and if so after how long?
Price you paid?
Did you remove the C3PO shroud around the low beam and if so method?

Thanks so much guys, you're always a welcoming wealth of info

Looks like I started this so:

Bought them in 2009 for around $520
The light output is great - no complains
Never opened them so they are original - din not remove the shroud
They never fogged
NO dash errors

Still love them today

I've had mine for only 2 months. No complaints. I get 10x the looks now then I did before. Oh, one thing. Took me a little to figure out how I was soposed to adj the headlights (aiming the low beams).
