I might have to look into these then. I'm on the fence about the angel eyes, mostly because everyone has them, all of the other aftermarket headlights look like crap, and I don't want to modify the stock headlights, but these look pretty sweet.

i think they are a bit high. mine were like that as well and i had to drop them down a bit.

light output is still equal to/more than OEM. I am currently using 4300k bulbs until i can find a good deal on philips brand 6000k or philips ultrablue bulbs.

i agree the slant-cutoff is different, but it doesn't really have any effect on light output.. and it doesn't blind anyone ( i had a friend drive my car while i drove his to test it out).

Thanks a lot for the pictures and information.Especially useful for those like myself that have the 2003 X5.
Now this seems to best option for those that want the AEs and keep the oem hids.

For us in UK/Europe ,we need the lights to have the lever above the headlights to direct the beam for driving on the other side of the road.
Do you have plugs above these Depo lights that give access to the lever?
I can buy direct from Depo Importer here..would the Deco part # be 444-1152PXNDHM2.

Congrats, Philly. The lights with the LED AE looks sweeeeet!

Can anyone confirm if these LED AE are factory build-in from Depo, or the reseller opened the lights up to fit them in?

And is there a way to change the LED to orange color?

Thanks.
