HELP - ipod install now no nav\radio UPDATE: FIXED

I found the problem. Based on these instructions http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/x5/...ll-bmw-x5.html at step #8 I cut the carpet as suggested. What he doesn't tell you is there is a huge bundle of cables right under where you are cutting. I freaked out when after I made the cut and pulled the carpet back to reveal the cables but it appeared I did not cut anything. When I couldn't figure out what was wrong I went back and looked at the wires again, sure enough 3 wires were severed. I spliced them back together and everything works, even the Intravee II and iphone set up

I just installed the Intravee II and the Alpine ipod unit so I could run my iphone through the truck. I replaced the factory CD changer in the back with the Intravee.

When I turned on the truck to test the set up I noticed the Nav screen did not come on. I pushed the radio button and no radio. Basically nothing on the Nav head unit works, no radio, no screen image, nothing. Checked fuses in trunk and glove box (pulled them and re-installed) and all are good. The Nav DVD unit in the trunk seems to be working, as I hear it come on when I open the door (plus the power light is on).

I unpluged the CD 6-pin and 3-pin connectors from the Intravee, just to try and get things working again, and no luck.

PS: It's a 2005 X5 and does not have DSP.

Any suggestions?
