hairline crack in wood trim

I have a hairline crack in the passenger door wood trim it is about 7 inches long but is not pulling away or anything.
Is this really covered by mfg warranty? My warranty is good until Feb 10th and I am bringing it in on Thurs. to address my squeaky stearing wheel for the second time.
I feel kind of uncomfortable boreassing them about a hairline crack that you can hardly see.
What would you do??

get it fixed, mine has two on the driver's door out of warranty so I am leaving it alone.

the woodtrim is covered under warranty, they probably even stock the part. when your out of warranty, and a new one will cost $250. get it done while its free.

ooo - good luck with CPO. I think it says no trim is covered. It's always worth a shot with the dealer (dependent on relationship), and they may goodwill it.

Good luck.
