Need Help on rear Wiper Delete.

I took out my rear wiper and now i just have a hole sitting there with blue tape for 3 weeks now. I tryed local Hardware stores, Lowes, Home Depot, Plumbing Supply houses. I don't know whatelse to do. I cant find this 1 1/8 plug for the hole.

Any websites or place that you know FOR SURE would have them ? ? ? ? Please need help on this.

If you can't find a 1-1/8" plug, why not go for something similar in size? A smaller inner diameter plug with a lip that covers up the gap should be fine. A quick search on McMaster showed me a locking plastic plug with an inner diameter of 1-3/32" and an outer diameter of 1-7/32". Oh yea, seal with some silicon sealant.

i assume your car will never see rain/snow?

i'm surprised, as hatch windows will dirty up real quick due to the turbulence behind the vehicle.

heres my rear wiper delete. to make the perfect plug you can use 2 of the parts from the wiper assembly. the first piece is the cap that covers the pivot shaft that gives you access to the nut. the other is the rubber grommet that seals the shaft running through the glass. i shaved the inside of the rubber with a utility knife for the cap to fit perfectly. it takes a couple times putting it in and out to get the right fit. mine has stayed 100% waterproof for about 6 months now without any glue or sealant. i wash mine so often i dont really have to worry about a dirty rear window. during winter months like these it does get pretty dirty but thats what the 2 side mirrors are for. haha i mean the stock x5 mirrors are big enough.
