Anyone able to explain how the UTQG rating relates to treadwear/noise? I noticed on the 315/35/20 it drops to 280AA. On the Contis they are all 540AA.

Treadepot.com. Use dctd25 as a promo code for another $25 off. For me the toyos are excellent tires.

How do the Toyo's do in light snow? The Conti's have a decent rating in that area

I'm leaning towards the Toyo Proxes STII. Based on several comments from prior Toyo owners the road noise after some wear becomes an issue, should I set my rear camber to almost 0 right off the bat and what will that do to the ride?

Thanks for the input, I'm still camber challenged!

Are there any other sized tires that can be used instead of the stock tires on our 20" rims?

I am considering these tires for my E70. For a comparison, the Dunlop SportMaxx RFT (20in) are pretty worn on the front at 13,000 miles. The Diamari's on my previous 4.8is wore much better.

As hard as some X5's drive with the stock suspensions, are you sure you want a harder ride still by going with a RFT?

That's what the car came with (sport package with 20 inch 214's). The E70s only come with RFTs. I don't think the ride is too harsh, but I was coming from a 4.8is. I am disappointed with the tire wear. I am considering other tires because of the tire wear, not the ride. I am not going to change anything else, such as camber.

So far, I have come across the following tires that will fit the e53 X5 4.8 20" rims: Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport, Conti CrossContact UHP, Conti ExtremeContact DWS and DW, Goodyear F1 GS-D3, Michelin 4x4 Diamaris (but why TireRack has a "closeout" for the rear tires I don't know why) and the Conti 4x4 Sport Contact.

Any new info on the Conti ExtremeContact dws?? I was reading about these tires and I like the stats. They seem like a good all season tire for the X5. They seem like they might offer a little more performance than the michelin latitudes but still be all season. I am a little timid to try the toyos. Reviews have said they dont perform as well after a few thousand miles. Any input on that topic?
