compustar issue! Help!

So I had a compustar car alarm starter install a couple of days ago.

compustar pro p2w9000fmr

They were not able to hook the device up to my door triggers because they said compustar requires a 12v signal and bmw's door trigger only gives off a 10.5 v signal.

The result of this is that the lcd remote does not tell me when my doors are open (but will lock and unlock ofcourse).

Also, if someone somehow opened my car door the alarm would not go off until they sat in the car and the shock sensor went off.

Has anyone heard of this issue?
A solution?

Thanks!
Fabian
