Rational argument. Get an 04-06 Acura MDX or get an early MDX that has replaced the tranny already (fails usually at 100k) It's bigger, it drives well and they are very reliable and have a good trunk (dog crates, etc)

As an outlier, you could also look at a used Landcruiser or LX470. Old and high mileage models are good value bets except for gas mileage

Irrational argument - nothing you get will drive like an x5.
