I've done 22.6 & 22.7 on 2 consecutive legs of x-country trip from Laramie, WY to Kansas City MO - so it is possible - note: NOT computer, but miles/actual gallons filled

The only thing I can say is lucky are those who can enjoy such low fuel usage (Congrates!) ... I even get 12mpg on highway! Kinda used by now. Yes I can confess i do go 100 -125mph (160 - 200km/h and more)... Just to see what Bavalian Engineers are upto!

I would too if we didn't live in a quasi free country. All these open roads and no way of stretching our Baverians' legs

I have never seen a 2 at the begining of my average mileage after a full tank of gas. My wife just went from Atlanta to Jacksonville and back. 21.2 on the computer which I find to be almost dead on. Me thinks we have different driving styles.
Its a 4.4

I make a 200 mile trip back and forth every other week from Binghamton NY to NYC with my 03 4.4i. There's some changes in elevation, but no much. Using cruise control for 190 of those miles I get around 21 mpg, as long as don't make any stops along the way going between 70 and 60 mpg the whole way.
