Yes, worth to drop them a mail. I've used their rings several times in my motorcycles and they work well although they need a careful running in.

Sweet. That could be the one. I called Deves yesterday and Don was not sure they had the 540/X5 4.4L but he offered to make them for a third of what the dealer wanted. Federal only had the aftermarket oversize, at least that's what the tech told me.

FYI I'm sure everyone knows about bmwfans.info for part numbers and drawings.
