Staggered 18's??
One of the wonderful things about the 18" Hankook IceBears on my 18x9 TSW wheels is that they have such a fantastic ride with the taller sidewalls. And frankly they're a lot quieter than the lousy Diamaris 19's too. But with the 4.8is running boards and rear flares, I need the staggered wheels to fill out the rears more. I'm not out to get better handling, after all it's an SUV and I've got the 528 and the 911 for the fun factor. I just need a better ride quality than the Diamaris tires offer, especially on long 10+ hour tows to various race tracks all summer. So I'm considering one of two things. The first is the easiest- Ditch the Michelins even though with 20,000 miles on them, they still have another 10-15000 miles of life left. Might try the Bridgestone HP Sport, stock 19" staggered sizes. I'd love to run the Toyos but no rear size available unfortunately. They have to be smoother, quieter and better in the rain than the Diamaris's. The other option, and a much more expensive one, is to get a set of staggered 18's. Since the 19's are 8.5/9.5, I'd like to get 18's in the same stagger but can't find any. 8/9's, 8/9.5's but not the OE widths and offsets. But I can have a set of Fikse FM10's made in any width and offset I want. Then run 255/55-18 front and 285/50 rear. Couple of different tires made in that combo. So before I go off the deep end and have a set of 3 piece wheels made in 18", anyone have any experience with the Bridgestone HP Sports?

I think member jst has had great success with the bridgestones. I would say keep the 19s. I think anything smaller with the fender flares (even if they are larger) dont look quite right. I thnk you'll be pleasantly surprised with the bridgestones
