I would do it just to save you potential headaches with tire wear.
Some places do it for $80 - 4 wheel alignment. Shop around. Only thing I've heard of is straightening a steering wheel with a vehicle that tracks properly - adjust the tie rods at equal lengths but opposite direction to keep the wheels the same direction, but change the steering wheel angle. |

Both of my trusted alignment guys are at least 1.25 hrs drive and rates are closer to $125 off the top of my head...

its a gamble to try and get the same toe angle after replacing the tie rods. If your installing both inner and outer rods then you definitely need an alignment.
