Ties Rods & NO Alignment

Is there a secret sauce on replacing the tie rods without getting a alignment afterwards ?

Sometimes these things just can't be avoided

I would do it just to save you potential headaches with tire wear.

Some places do it for $80 - 4 wheel alignment. Shop around.

Only thing I've heard of is straightening a steering wheel with a vehicle that tracks properly - adjust the tie rods at equal lengths but opposite direction to keep the wheels the same direction, but change the steering wheel angle.

Both of my trusted alignment guys are at least 1.25 hrs drive and rates are closer to $125 off the top of my head...

its a gamble to try and get the same toe angle after replacing the tie rods. If your installing both inner and outer rods then you definitely need an alignment.
