Whats my 03 4.6IS worth?

Well, Im thinking very seriously about picking up an Audi RS6 and finally getting rid of my 4.6IS. Whats she worth do you guys think? Heres all the info.

2003 BMW X5 4.6IS, Titanium Silver w/ black nappa leather with mtex, titanum trim, premium sound w/dsp, 6 disk changer, power seats, window shades, pretty much fully loaded w/ every option except the running boards, I didnt like these when I bought it. 70,000km Cheers!

Heres a pic.

go to cars.com and input a zip code near you. this will give you are market value for your area in USD. auction prices are much less.

4.6/4.8 used to be rare, but since 2007 are common in the new body style.

Seattle is selling these for $18-22K. you will get $25,000 if you are lucky.

Check out: New Cars, Used Cars, Car Reviews and Pricing - Edmunds.com you can get a pretty good guide there...

It really depends on your locale though, If I used the U.S. prices for my locale I would be swimming in money!!!

Basically there are HUGE price variations from region to region in pricing so a localised search would probebly a better fit for you...

Either find a local dealer, a localised wesite selling cars in your area or buy a auto trader magazine...

Hope it helps...

So the 4.6is used to be rare, but now it isn't? Care to explain that one?

I assume you are aware of the reliability record of the RS6? Are you talking about the 2003 RS6, or a newer one? I would not personally go there - I would rather have the 4.6is....

It's still very rare to see a 4.6/4.8is on the road

I was refering to the C5 platform 2002-2004. Do some research. Great cars, but they can require some very expensive repairs. I would not own one outside of warrantee personally. You would be better off with the RS4, IMHO - better drivers car and far more reliable.
