Wow! I suggest you to look further on this problem,
and don't wait any longer because youdont want your
nice interior BMW (smells terrible with wet melting deteriorated
carpet matt) seating around for so long...(It's like having your
house mop dirty and seating in the bathroom for ever and never
get wash or dry.

If you dont have the compressor as they mentioned, I would use the same
strong liquid stuff they usually pull into the toilette (as Bleach/clorox)
to make debris melt-away and easy to flows out.

Get acup of bleach, open your sunroof and look in the corner
where water flows, and try to spill slowly around the tube holes and
I guarantee you will see some result or everything may clear out by 24hres.

Talking

YesI can tell you that my BMW INTERIOR used to be flooded
(rear & front passenger side only), in a way if you pull-up the rear
carpet matt, you will smell NOT only bad but seeing alot of little
animals digging around under the carpet.

I was scared and thought that I was probably trapped into something
bizarre...N'till I came in this forum to search for similar issue, where some
great folks walked me through the process of cleaning my top roof
corner, which I found that were clogged with trees debris.
Thanks God! the debris didn't go all the way in, I managed to clean it
and every since I've never seen such problem anymore,
It was like 4months ago, and imagine how hard it rains in the last
24hrs all around tri-states... my interior would have been flooded like NJ by now.

The drains exit inside the fender liners... unbolt the plastic fender liners and clear the drain exits. And you really need to dry under the carpet or it will mold and mildew. There are numerous threads on this with lots of info.

tried the bleach thing today.no clue as to whether its working or not except for the fact that as it started leaking into the cabin it looks like it had become dirty.i noticed it by placing a towel to collect all the water and now the towel has brown spots all over it.as for taking apart the fender liner, that will have to wait for a day where theres nothing but sun.

Recently, I had similar the same problem (as mysweetx5) with the sunroof drainage problem. In which water wasnt able to drain properly through the drains and ended up pooling up my front passenger floor. I determined the problem after removing the A-pillar and seeing the rubber drain tube pinched by the A-pillar itself. I dont know why, but when I replaced that A-pillar (front passenger side) because of bubbling or X'ing of the upholstery, I must have placed the rubber tube into the metal latching clips. Then with the A-pillar in place and screwed down, the tube was pinched up. I resolved it by allowing the drainage tube to hang down away from the clips and A-pillar mounting screw area, which allowed the water/rain to flow.

Thanks for everyones input on this matter. Especially Weasel & mysweetx5.

YEP YEP, weasel does it again. I can credit this as a symptom of clogged sunroof drains. I also had a little water dripping from overhead console as well. and today I cleared the problem just before it started to rain.
