Installed CCFL $170 lights from eBay...
Ok, I had a chance to install these $170 eBay lights with CCFL's and I must say that I really like them BUT the halogen projector suck big time compared to OEM HID's and new 6K bulbs that I am using right now giving me allot of problems - wont come up when I start the car or will come up few second later... I even purchased error cancellers / capacitors but they not helping - the only way to fix that problem is to install the OEM 4K bulbs but with halogen projector they look ugly yellow comparing to the CCFL light output.
I cannot open my original lights to change the projector because they are after 2003 so the only way for me left is - to go with DEPO ones that we had a group buy for $480.00 (but I really liked the look on these lights better, especially the low light lens – more OEM I think) Anyway - I just wanted to post my opinion and to show you guys some pictures. P.S the halogen lens light output is completely different, there is no 'clean line" and not much light even with 6K bulbs passenger side compared to OEM: ![]() lense ![]() ![]() New & OEM headlight ![]() ![]() wire for CCFL's (bought that plustic sleeve to cover the wires from Home Depot - $1.99) ![]() ![]() ![]() day shot ![]() ![]() ![]() night shot ![]() ![]() ![]()
