Your not gonna believe this but I use an old fashion toilet brush. It has a long handle. I bent the wire in the brush so that it's a little flater than normal and wow it really does a great job. Plus it's cheap.

I do this on my car about two times a year. When I do a full detail on the car. It's not necessary but its nice to get all that grime out of there.

I swap winter & summer wheels as well and get them cleaned every time before I put them away for 6 months. However I usually just spray the wheels inside & out with a good quality (acid free) degreaser/wheel cleaner and spray them with water really good using a wand wash. That's all there is to it, and they look brand new inside & out without having to take them off or getting your hands in there!

I use these wheel brushes from Griots garage to clean the inside of wheels and do a deep cleaning when i swap winter/summer wheels. I also use their wheel well brush.

I use my power washer to clean the rims. Works like a champ and gets everything off.

Believe it or not, I clean the inside of my rims everytime I wash them...that's about three times a week. Style 87's are easy to clean. The brake dust leaves a mess and it is also corrosive if left unattended...Phil

Same, but not as often. About once a week, school doesn't give me that much time.
Fill out in your profile what city you live near, maybe we can have a Texas meet sometime

That's gotta be a heat shield, man, it does ZIPPY to keep dust off the rims!
