I am powder coating the rims gunmetal in a few weeks and trying to decide between black side step bars or the OEM aluminum running boards...

Just ordered the Eibach sways earlier today too...

I did the LED license plate bulb swap on my other car and I love the look...definitely a stop this week to pick up a pair for the X...

I would paint the calipers black or something that doesn't stand out, imo. It's not a bbk. Also, BMW M's have black calipers.... Painting them white would be pretty bad, even with ceramic pads.

You could paint your calipers black or silver, might help with the color flow.

i dont know, for some odd reason am not a big fan of any type of black wheels.. dont get me wrong i did see some of u guys here with blk wheels (87's) and they look amazing.. but on a white X's its gonna hard for me to go for that look.. i was dyin to get the non-chrome 87's but i couldnt pass this deal when i seen em for $500. last summer... back to the calipers, i forgot to mention that i did have em silver at first but they look odd specially on chrome 87's.. thats why i went red to get that sporty look but didnt like em either.. i'm thinking on repainting em black of white to get the flow of the X.. but does white calipers are hard to maintain (dirt get rusty spots/grease /etc after a while)

When I painted my calipers, I did the mounting hardware and pads retainer clip in a black, along w/ doing the hats of the rotors. The calipers and all the hardware being all red is a little too much, especially since we don't have large dual or triple pistons w/ larger faces like you see on most Porsche's, etc. I was hoping to be able to write BMW on the face of my calipers, but since the face is so small, there simply wasn't room to put it anywhere that would still be visible from the side of the car.
