Yes my mechanic says the module and both sensors need to be changed...car has dropped and ride is terrible at this height and gotta get it fixed. Parked it...again untill Monday-Tuesday...arrggghhhh!
Liking your blacked out tail lights...where did you get em ? Anymore pics of your sweet ride ? |

I'd careful about this diagnosis. Suspension inactive warning happens for a half dozen different reason, including just a voltage drop in the electrical.
The terrible ride is because of the warning, the vehicle locks the suspension to stiffest mode when the warning comes on. Is the ride height dropping equally all around or just one corner? |

The ride height is mostly right side...but left has dropped too...

My issue was a leaking air spring caused by adjustable end links that were installed wrong. The end links dropped to where there was what felt like no air in the springs. This put some stress on the air spring and caused a leak. I replace the air spring and no more inactive suspension.
So Batm4n is right about the problem being caused by many different things. Thats why I ask how you came to the conclusion you did. Seems that both sensors going bad at the same time would be unlikely. The fact that you have one side higher leads me to a leaking air spring, but is the car always low? Does it go up when the X is started and falls over time? Check the compressor fuse as this fixes many issues.

It was up always at one point...then dropped at all times as of recently. Hissing sound when I start and turn car off and when I unlock doors. I will check the compressor fuse and see what happens.

If you have the full adjustable suspension your car will sag a bit if left out over night. The night time cold air will cause the air bladders to sag.
The hissing you hear when you open the door and turn on the car is the diagnostic system running it's own internal self checks on the air suspension when the door is opened. This is normal behavior. It should only happen for few brief seconds. The suspension inactive warning will also appear if your suspension goes out of the tolerance (e.g. if one air bladder is vastly different than the other side) You probably want to check if the air springs are leaking before swapping the controller and sensors. |

Got the truck back. I had to replace the passenger side air spring....it was finished. Was getting no reading from the module turns out there was inch of water from a water leak....inside passenger front...a wire was corroded which caused the module to not read....found the corroded wire and had it repaired....at sime time replaced the front CV joints they were done.
