Rear fogs activated at last
After much anguish and a failed attempt on my old 02 X5 I have finally re-trofitted factory rear fog lights on my new 05 X.
Thank you very much to the help I recieved from many e-mails back and forth from Withidl and Jeff see post; http://www.xoutpost.com/showarticle-173.html They work exactly as described, I need the lights to work for legal reasons when the car goes to the UK but cant understand why such a good safety feature is not fitted here in North America.BMW goes to great lenghts to not fit them because they fit a different light switch and leave the wires out of the harness, doesnt make much sense when they are manatory in most of the rest of the world, I know we dont get that much fog here in SoCal but when it does come it can be pretty pea soupy !!!!!. I have tried to add some pic's not sure if its worked !!!!
