Rear trim restoration

Sorry for the title but I am not sure what its called. Need some help on restoring the fade trim[Exhaust flap?]. Mine is fading and I wanted to bring it back. Is there a spray..or cleaner like BlackMagic or ArmorAlll?

See attached pic.

Thanks..

There are several products on the market that help cover the fading that these areas suffer over time.

A lot of enthusiasts use a product called "Back to Black" with good success. Others, like me, just use the same stuff that you'd use to make your tires shiny.

These "rejuvinating" products range from Armor-all (thin viscosity) to a thicker tire dressing. Experiment with several. You'll find exactly what you're looking for.

I use Black Wow on my trim and its great, works awesome and does give the trim and plastic parts of the X that factor fresh look again. Not to mention that black wow smells like a bottle of strawberries... i just love to apply it.

As mentioned everything you apply to the trim is only temporary and will wash off after a car wash or two.

I have used this tire cleaning spray foam stuff on the trim, it does not require any wiping so thats nice. And it dries to a mild shine, but not greasy. Just enough to make the trim look new.

Uh-oh, the search police is at it again. Search, search, search...you need to give it a rest. You are fighting a battle you can't win.
