Question Trunk Emblem replacement

I did a quick search around and found allot of instruction on replacing the hood Emblem but not the trunk of the X5. Most of the trunk instructions are for cars. From what I can tell the trunk Emblem is glued on..is that right? If so what is the best method (used) to remove it and the recommended (proven) glue used to put it and keep it on.

Thanks

use a heat gun and pry it off with a plastic pry tool. ecs tuning has a slim package wrap instrument that makes it easy to remove this emblem, cost about .99

use heat and something to pry it off with, careful not to mar the paint. Sometimes a high-test fishing line works well to "saw" emblems off.

To put it back on, use 3M trim tape - double-sided and available in auto parts stores

1. Heat Gun (hair dryer)
2. Dental Floss (you will be shocked at how well this works)
3. Goo Gone on a paper towel will get the adhesive residue off in 2 swipes.

Anyone debadge here? I always did on my Audis. Can't decide on X5. May debadge and just put a V8 back there.
