All dead battery victims.

I have run thru all scenarios with 02 4.4l and battery drains can not find it for the life of me. I find it funny that the X5 will start run around town for an hour and then 1/2 hour later dead. Replaced alternator, battery, fsr my question is what has been your fix. Thanks to all.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
With the number of electronics in these vehicles it sometimes takes lots of time with the proper equipment to track it down... I've spent days with a low amperage inductive amp clamp tracking down circuits etc. trying to find an intermittent draw.

Does the battery only drain after driving, or does it drain from just sitting?

Mine was the telephone module not going to sleep. Easy tiger, most people are doing other things on the weekends.

Me too. Non original cellphone without BMW firmware caused my battery drain problem.

Nav system and rear trunk hatch are common causes that I've heard of.
