The strut at Tischer BMW is $730.67 + $34.95 (Shipping). I got quoted $1139 CND locally.

So worse case, I'll have to shell out for a new BMW part that will fail eventually

I'll have to look into this green slime workaround, but I'm not sure where the hole is yet. That trick only works, if it's low, cause the slime will travel down.
How about this. Are they out of stock too?:

Are they warrentied for replacement though? Arnott will replace the strut for free if a strut they sell you fails. I had a similar issue, where I needed the strut. I knew it was going to fail eventually, and by the time I could find out about Arnott, it did fail. My front end was sitting 1/2" above the tires. I had it towed to my local shop, and I got on the phone with Arnott immediately. They said that they were on backorder, but I had to get my car fixed in time to get it to school. They were able to get one out to me within a week. I had a great experience with them, and so far, knock on wood, I haven't had any problems.

I ordered it off of that ebay link. The price is higher than Arnott, but it actually includes shipping, as well as the return shipping of the core. If you zoom in on the strut, it actually says Arnott all over it, so I guess they are a re-seller.

Description says 2 year warranty.

Anyway, hopefully this does the trick. Thanks for the help.
