Hey guys, thanks for the welcome. I'm a chiropractor here in Italy, I've been here for about 3 years, and loving it! In Italy I think they put the buy date on the title, not the year of the car, a bit strange.

I always enjoy hanging out with other americans while I'm in Italy, if any of you are going to be in the area drop me a line. Aviano Air Base is about 3 to 4 hours as the BIG WHEEL flies from me.

Hey Bozo, go ahead and use the "BIG WHEEL" I'm glad to share.

Cimbro se vuoi incontrarmi un giorno, andiamo a sciare questo stagione (faccio snowboard) a Folgaria, vado volentieri. Fuel consumption is high, but the extra fun is worth it!!

Thanks again, glad to be here!!

OK, where's my handy Italian-English dictionary? Guess you guys are talking about snowboarding. Just a guess.

So did the pixel fix work for you? Let me know as I used the fix here and still had no luck....Nice ride by the way. I also just recently purchased a 2001 X5 Sapphire black sports pack.

Welcome and congrats! My wife is firs-generation American. Her parents are from Asiago Italy, and we go there just about every year. Love that country!

Again, congrats!

Juan

Ah, my X5 is a 2003 pre-facelift 3.0d as usually in Italy. I love the 4.4i but the fuel consumption are very high. Maybe in the future I will buy it.
Bye
Cimbro,

My wife and I go to your "neck of the woods" almost every year. My wife's parents have a place in Asiago, and we still have friends and family there. Love that area... well, I love all of Italy. What a beautiful country and what wonderful people.

By the way, that's where I learned the "correct" way of drinking coffee -- just add a little grappa.

Juan

Bozo- I've been through Aviano several times on my way to and from the desert back in the early 90's, you'll love it there! It's about 45 miles from Venice, so go to Harry's on the Grand Canal, have a REAL bellini and some frutti di mare and watch the gondolas go by.

Welcome aboard, Hoopie! Nice looking X! If I ever get back to the motherland I will look you up!

Really? I live at around 30minutes from Asiago, yesterday I was there. Now there is snow and it's around -8°C very cold!! But beautiful place.
About the "Grappa", my house is in the center of "Bassano del Grappa" close where there is "Nardini", one of the worldest famous grappa producer. I have always the vapours of grappa in my head!!! bye
