Wow thanks to everyone n this thread...my wife complained about no heat coming from the center vents and so I came to the forums. As usual you guys rock as I found this thread. Which was exactly what I needed. Thanks!

I picked my X5 up early in the morning in Florida..Drove a few hundred miles north towards Connecticut before I needed the A/C. All I got was heat..I swore the car up and down all the way home (22 hrs). Didn't realize I had that stupid little dial on the red...
