WVMTNBIKER,
Although it would not be classified as scintillating reading, you ought to crack the Owners Manual, and spend an hour leafing through it: a lot of good info contained there in; if you don't have one, they are pasted on this site, in easy to read pdf files. GL, mD |

My fault...
MotorDavid: yep, I have the full OEM manual/packet.
The day I purchased the X5 my mother-in-law passed away while we were in SC visiting. It seems that these past few weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions and overlooks, as in "read the owners manual, Dan". Being the very time I had to use the heater, I just simply did not notice the vent dial right in the middle of the dash. ![]() But you can bet this weekend I'll be soaking up information from the owners manual and see what I can learn from it. ![]() This forum has been kind to me, even on simple issues like this one. The big help came from questions I had about four wheel alignment and changing an outer CV joint boot. There is no doubt you guys have saved me $$$$$$$$$$$ over a "stealer". For that sir, you have my deepest thanks.
