quick question about window regulator
i fould a small piece of plastic in the bottom of the door and its off the window regulator see pic below (left hand side of pic) just one problem...... i cant undo the nut in the bottom pic .....err it seem so tight and when i try it, it slips and if i keep trying it will wreck the nut head, i had a feel of the back and its pastic, do i undo it from the back? any advise i would be very gratefull, thanks |

That looks like a bolt!Is there a nut at the back?You may need to hold nut at the same time as you undo the front bolt.
Best thing is to spray some wd40 there ,or a Wurth "rust off ice "spray will ice down bolt to -40º.Then try and undo it. If still doesnt budge,then only way is is to use air line tool wrench to hammer impact the bolt. Last edited by powers1; 09-19-2010 at 09:32 AM. Reason: more info |
