Someone asked why would you buy this over an E46 M3? If its not obvious to you, the Z3 MCoupe is one of the most unique BMWs, if not cars in general, that still gets 100x more looks and compliments today than the dozens of E46 M3s you can see any given day. It is truly one of the few modern classic bmws (E30 M3 withstanding) that you can still obtain, if you're lucky enough to find one. They're not for everyone and the people who own them are their own special breed. I'm in the process of restoring mine as we speak.

I always wanted a 2001 M Coupe, in blue. Looked at a few, but never seriously. I don't think they re ugly, just distinctive, in the same way as a Volvo P1800ES is distinctive. They certainly get lots of looks.
Don't know that I'll ever get one, I dont' need a project now. And if I did get an older BMW, I think I would rather have a silver Z8.
