I got mine from China electronic Wholesale - Buy China electronic Wholesale Products from Chinese Wholesaler Dropship - ctobay.com. But I am expecting at least 2-3 months before mine shows up.

Before you buy you should read this forum on these units. BimmerForum.com

StartX5 couple questions if you don't mind.

I have heard that some people with E-39's and E-46's have put the navigation antennas right behind the unit (magnetized to metal) was this an option?

Also did you decide to use the built in microphone on the Dynavin or did the existing OEM Mic fit?

Any guidance on removing the glove box would also be appreciated.

Thanks. BTW, the install looks awesome !!!!!

440film, I have been in their forum during doing "homework" for the headunit too. It's E46 Fanatics: 3-Series, BMW Forums, BMW Modifications, E46 BMW - i am not sure exactly where they located the GPS antenna. However, you should place the antenna where it can receives signal and looks professional. I don't think right behind the unit is a good idea for GPS antenna because it doesn't have signal. I attached picture below to show where i installed my GPS antenna (pictured show GPS antenna cable but i used my finger nail to hide cable inside)

I used built-in Dynavin microphone.

Removing the glove box is another job for this installation. There are 6 screws total; 4 located in the front and 2 screws located in each each of glove box bottom. To remove these 2 screws, first you need to remove the pin in glove box damper and lower the glove box. After removed all screws, unplug glove box light and flash light charger cable and gently pull the glove box out of your truck.
I copy the glove box diagram here:

StartX5 could you possibly take a picture and/or explain how the navigation wire goes from the top of the dash to the glove box? I see you tucked in the wire in the crease on the top but what about the side of the dash when the door is open, is it visible?

StartX5, you're awesome. Thanks so much that really helps. I'm installing my Dynavin on Saturday.

I'm still trying to find a trick to fish a couple USB cables from the coin/pen tray (with the flip door) to behind the stereo.

Wish me luck.
