Key fob programing
It is very easy. if you have the key fob with the three buttons(top button opens doors, Roundel button locks doors, and third button opens hatch) then all you do is get in the vehicle and close all doors, place the key in the ignition, turn the key to start position (just before it turns over), turn kee back to off position and pull key out and hold down door open button while pressing the roundel button three times. the doors should lock and unlock. you are done.

From what I read so far you have to take a working key and do this procedure before doing it on the non-working key. At any rate I tried doing this by itself and nothing happened?

I bought a key off ebay and did this procedure and it worked. Yes I do believe you need to use the working key somewhere but I can't remember the exact steps.

Well the dealer said they can re-initialize the key without having a working key. We will see how it works out.
