So its been a while with out the E53...
As most of you have seen from my previous post I unfortunately got into an accident with my X5... (Some 22 year old ambulance driver decided to start driving reckless and turn into my X5 while I had the right of way (Green light). Anyways just a little update, so far thank gd me and my GF (Who was in the X with me at the time) have started to heal up and I am indeed feeling a little better now, my back still hurts alot from time to time but its not as bad as it was on that dreadful night. I really miss my E53 4.4 and everytime I see one pass me I sorta weep a bit and I start to miss my own E53 and I just start thinking about all the work I put into mine... Currently there is a law suit going on and I am just holding on to the faith that I will be driving a 4.4 once again... In the meanwhile I found myself a very comfy (But small) E46. It was a price I couldn't resist and I am enjoying it but just cant wait until I get my hands on an E53 once more... Anyways, Id like to thank everyone here for helping me with every issue I ever had, from installing Depos to replacing spark plugs to rebuilding that damn transmission... everyone has been a great help in this great community that I wish to rejoin once again in the future.... forget getting another 4.4, lets look for a 4.6 or 4.8 for you. maybe my mom will be selling her mint silver 4.6is by that time

Hope you get well soon and don't settle for too little money. I was in an accident several years ago (hit from the left like you) and no broken bones (only soft tissue damage on my left shoulder). I went through almost 1 year of physical therapy and didn't get it all sorted out until this year (almost 3 years from the accident). Other party admitted fault but received lowball offer not even enough to cover medical bills - had to file suit. They eventually doubled their offer and we settled out of court.
I'm not for always suing but sometimes its necessary. You don't know what kind of complications can arise later and also there's no guarantee the doctors can always get you back to before - sometimes its not possible. Anyways, I'm sure you understand what I mean. Its nice when people say thanks and show appreciation for the forum and the people here. So, I join you in saying Thanks too! This place is awesome!  Hope you get back in an X soon!
