Road Noise While Driving

Being a new X5 owner, yesterday was my first full day of driving. What I noticed is that there is a lot of Road Noise. It sounds almost as bad as my Mustang. Could it be the tires or is this normal?

I hate to turn up the radio and blast it just so I don't hear the road.

I put Michelin Latituds on my X and don't get much noise from them. I do however got alot of windnoise which I dont really know how to fix. I dont want to spend a ton of money replacing every seal on the X. Congrats on your purchase and good luck.

Paul,

Try gummi pflege. Phil sells it at Detailers domain. It's a rubber conditioner. Works like a charm. I just did all my seals.

Check the amount of tread left on the tires. Mine get noisier as they wear.
