Best option? (iPod/Sirius) integration...

Hey guys!

I want to connect in my iPod and Sirius Satellite into the X5. I have DSP and Navi, so from my understanding I will be losing my 6-disc changer and that is fine. But I want to purchase one product that will connect both iPod and Sirius...does this product exists?

Hi,

maybe you want to have a look here: DICE MediaBridge BMW iPod / iPhone / Satellite / Bluetooth / USB Integration Kit | BSW
Seems to be what you want to have.

Good luck, H

Haha great minds think alike!

I was pretty upset when the mediabridge came out within months of me installing silverline pro.

no one is answering the phones at BSW right now, so my next question is, will I lose my current Bluetooth capabilities that come from the factory when I install this? or not? if not then there is no need to add on the "bluetooth" option to this kit...correct?

That is correct. The factory bluetooth has more features as well including the phonebook. I would skip the bluetooth feature if I was you.

so installing this WITHOUT the "bluetooth add-on" won't affect my factory bluetooth...as i am assuming it has nothing to do with the 6CD Changer being removed?
