I know your issue sounds far more complicated but I've had transfailsafe come on just because my MAF was either disconnected or I had the vacuum tube to the throttle body disconnected, causing a massive vacuum leak.
I'm assuming the speed sensor on the transmission has been reconnected? Sent from my SPH-M900 using Tapatalk
