The FX-R is not an easy mount in the Depos. You have to cut down the Depo mounting points and either fabricate a bracket or mount with epoxy. Bolt holes do not line up.

The stock Depo projectors are horrible, though.

I gave up trying to find one in Canada... even automatics are hard to come by...

back on the topic - used my X5 to haul a wheelbarrow... not proud of it, but this car is truly an activity/utility truck now

I suspected they were garbage! I saw pics of the depo h7 projector out of their e39 lights, it looked similar in specs to either of the mini projectors, or maybe the TSX projector perhaps? I wouldn't know though unless I had projectors and Depos to test, it would be nice for other members to know what "drops in", for example the eBay lights which are still sold by Spyder brand use a variation of the Hella E55 design so our stock projectors and aftermarket Hella E55Rs drop right in.

Give the key of the 3.0 to the new owner.

Last pictures in the driveway.

I believe 139 made it to the US market. I looked up the prod #s about 2yrs ago, the gray matter might be fading.

This is the FX-R vs the factory Depo projector. I'm sure you can pick out which is the FX-R.

Is the factory projector even on????? Any better pics of your headlights, those housings look very clean and I'd love to see more shots with the FX-Rs!

Those are the standard Depos. They look a lot like the facelift units which I'm good with.

The passenger projector is definitely on. They're just poor. Both projectors have brand new Morimoto bulbs. I'll try and grab some more pictures later.

so you bought the LED ring version for about 550 then swapped the FX-R in there? Did you do the build or did Lightwerkz do it for you? I only ask because he posted recently on HIDPlanet about doing a Depo housing with LED rings and replacing the projector with FX-R's (would be quite a coincidence if you did the same!)
