FWIW, I've found the Dakota leather is VERY durable in the X, and even when conditioned with my current favorite, 1Z Einzett Lederpledge, it just conditions the leather and keeps it smooth and supple, but I have never had ultra soft leather in the X even after its conditioned. It has a heck of a good coating on it, and the backseat gets a bit more supple than the front, but compared to say Audi leather, Audi's is a bit "softer" when conditioned.

Worked some more on the leather, and wondering if the Dakota leather was ever soft and subtle in the first place. It's never taken me this long to restore leather in a car before. :P
The Dakota leather softens up after a few applications of Lexol 2 step products. The cleaner actually etches and opens the leather pores, this allow the conditioner to absorb into the surface.

The leather needs a minimum of 2 treatments per year from new. Several used Xs I looked at had hard/cracked leather from neglect. Some people use all purpose cleaner/window cleaner on leather and NEVER condition!

Naz24 has them, as do some other members. For the money they are a nice upgrade Matt. If I ever "blew" my speakers I'd probably get BSW replacements, with DSP my options are limited.

I purchased an upgrade kit a few years ago. I an not a nut case about audio but many people mention it sounds great without me saying anything. The speakers were all plug and play. I have the sub turned way down so it won't make the gas door vibrate. I purchased their amp also. It came with instructions. I had a couple of questions during the install and they were extremely helpful.

Their site says that subs are all custom fitted to each vehicle application? Where do the sub and amp get installed in an E53?
