dang moneyp1t.

Sent the valve covers to get PC. Seals are good. micropitting on the covers is most likely the case for the oil in the spot I'm seeing.

@X53Jay4.8is: just noticed that you have a pre-facelift front on a 4.8is?
Did you or your previous owner swapped either the front or the engine?

No my X5 is a 2003 4.6is model

Picked up a late model '03 4.6iS yesterday.
First order of business: replacing trunk emblem & license plate bulbs/lens.
Next: Wash

A few shots of my recent updates. More/better when I get it back from the shop again. Recent visual updates include the blacked-out hood and kidney grills as well as the new wheels.
