Surprised what little hacking was required to get these put in...

Installed Osram Night Breaker H1 bulbs into the high beams.

Ordered D2S Night Breakers for the xenon headlights as well.
Deets please

The only thing you do to your X is detail it and clip on battery tender clips, lol...

A Ski Rack... a ski rack. I don't even own a ski, let alone many skis that would necessitate an entire rack. What am I gonna do with a ski rack?

I was able to change out my belts and tensioners this weekend. I hate to admit that it took me over 30 mins to figure out how to install the new hydraulic version. The mech version has two mounting bolts and the hydr has three. I almost gave up surmising I must have been shipped the one for the M62 by mistake. But after a new round of flipping the tensioner sideways, upside down, angled left, right, left, left again, I f i n a l l y matched up the needed bolt pattern. If I had know if would be such a mental exercise I would have taken pictures for any DIY attempts.

Didn't help that the oil filter housing was right in the way.

Thule Aeroblade - guy I bought it from gave me the set, new in box. Got bored this weekend and tossed it on.

Just wondering if I can go through the car wash with it on, have my doubts.

I played around with Carly on the X5.

Get your mind out of the gutter guys, it's just a car app similar to Torque. Been popular with the newer chassis and they are now developing it more towards the older chassis too. Check out my video showing all the modules Carly can access on our E53's!
