Today. My Passenger side Electric window got stuck in the fully down position and will not go back up. Sigh. Anyways.. since its stuck in fully down position and wont go back up.. apparently the window is suppose to be at a certain up position(half way up or so) so I can reach a certain bolt that holds the window.

Anyone got any ideas to get it back up? Cheers.

All the plastic trims are supposed to be black. The plastics turn grey as they age, I guessed. But if "treat" them properly, it's supposed to remain black. You're the first that I've heard of to refer to them as grey.

Im pretty sure my motor hasn't died. When I press the buttom, the interior light dims but also you have hear the Motor move. The glass also moves about 1cm up and down only and wont go up any further. That's not a sign of the motor dead is it?

Cheers.

it could be getting weak or your window is jammed, when pushing the button to go up ,I would try and pull up on the window at the same time

Today, I replaced the thermostat. I was going to also replace the water pump but after a hands-on inspection, I found nothing wrong with it. The pump's manufacture date was 5-05. Amazing, after 10 years and 108000+ miles, the pump was still in excellent shape. No grinding noise what-so-ever when I spun it. I had read stories on here about pumps going bad well before 100000 miles, must be my luck, I guess. Anyways, coolant temperature is dead center on my dash, happy as hell.
