Now that i am a stronger believer of because thats the same conclusion i came to when i took the stereo out however,in a bmw,you can never be too sure so thats why i had went and asked.thanks for the help to the both of you

i also noticed that the e39 mid look practically identical to the X5' MID.could this be used as a replacement as well?
